Colours of Our Land

In marking 2 years since the passing of my Grandad, I’m happy to share this collection of artwork gathered from the children in his village in Maqsudan, Jalandhar, Punjab. Words cannot articulate the sheer joy that pulling this project together has instilled in me. To create an overseas connection with the same children our family played with just 2 years ago, shortly before my Grandad’s passing has been the most beautiful thing.

As for the drawings! You can see how much care and consideration went into each one… what a talented bunch. I received 60 drawings in total, these were a selection of my favourite from each child. Enjoy!
