Have our workplace encounters become too transactional?

Yes. What are organisations doing to reignite human connection amongst their employees? In my eyes, not that much.

In our post-Covid and immensely digital world, getting employees together in the same room feels like a big win. It might be great for getting them onboard with your latest strategy, but it’s not doing much for their underlying crave for human connection. To think you could spend a whole day with a co-worker and end not knowing even 5% more about the depths of their core being feels like a massive waste if you ask me!

Luckily, addressing this need for human connection that is currently crippling work cultures across the globe really isn’t as hard as some may think. Through the NEEKSVISUAL Corporate workshops, here’s my creative take on doing something about it:

So far, I’ve been lucky enough to put this method into practice with a number of teams part of a global organisation. The results? 100% of surveyed employees to date agreed the workshops allowed them to better understand and connect with their colleagues. 100% also agreed they would like to see similar workshops incorporated into their work schedule. So good for the employees, but what about benefits for the business?

And lastly, this is D&I put into practice!!! Ditch the reports, tick boxes and empty campaigns, and start leaning on tangible methods with tangible results.
